Flex tents, sometimes called stretchtents, freeform tents, amorph tents or even bedouin tents, are a new type of tent. The name already indicates what makes these tents so very special: they can be freely formed and adapted to fit the conditions of a location. They are made from a newly developed multi layer material that is stretchable. This gives them their unique fluent shapes, yet they remain 100% waterproof. Once erected, a flex tent is extremely stable with strong wind, which has made them very popular in the Netherlands.
